Fans may recall that Griff encouraged Max to join their extremist group. He managed to get Max to trust him and groomed the teenager. Max did his bidding by making online videos that spread racist propaganda.

Max starts to have second thoughts about his association with Griff’s gang when he learns that he may be planning something dangerous for the Weatherfield Peace Market. His loyalty starts to waver, especially after learning that Lauren’s father, who is also part of Griff’s gang, warned her daughter to stay away from the market.

Max decides to call the police. He was brought to the police station for questioning. After being asked how he’s involved with the gang, Max is released, and no charges are filed against him.

David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) continues to support his son, but Gail Platt (Helen Worth) thinks otherwise. She doesn’t want to do anything with Max after all the problems he has brought to the family. But Griff will take Max’s actions as an act of betrayal. He’ll pay him a visit while David rushes home to check up on Max after learning from Daryan Zahawi that he heard the latter arguing with somebody inside the house. David arrives to see Griff still at his house, which results in a physical altercation.

Later in the week, Spider Nugent (Martin Hancock) encourages David to stand by Max because he’s a good lad. As for Max, he learns that Lauren plans to stay with her mum in Devon. She asks him if he wants to go with her and leave Weatherfield since the residents already consider them as public enemy number one because of their connection to Griff. Will Max leave Weatherfield for good?

Coronation Street Spoilers – Is Stephen Leaving Weatherfield, too?

It seems that someone else is also planning to leave Weatherfield. Aside from Max, Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) is thinking of making a run for it after learning that Teddy Thompkins (Grant Burgin) may recover if he makes it through the night at the hospital.

Fans may recall that Teddy was rushed to the hospital after getting hit by a van. He was rushed to the hospital and was put into an induced coma. The doctors weren’t sure at first if he’ll recover, so Stephen decides to take matters into his own hands.

He confesses to Teddy that he knew what happened to Leo (Joe Frost) and tries to reach the button for Teddy’s life support. He could not end Teddy’s life thanks to Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews). The latter arrives just in the nick of time and even tells Stephen that Teddy may be able to survive if he gets through the night.
