Bernie lands in hot water with the police because of Fern. The latter got a job at a jewelry store as a cleaner. But she pretended to be Bernie on her first day. She used Bernie’s name and dressed like her while on the job. Not long after, Fern found an opportunity to rob the place and make a run for it. Because the culprit looked a lot like her, Bernie struggled to convince the police that she had nothing to do with the robbery. Spoilers hint that she’ll come up with a plan to track Fern down.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Bernie Winter Looks For Fern Lindon

In upcoming Corrie scenes, Bernie decides to take matters into her own hand after receiving a letter informing her of her plea hearing date. She uses her resemblance with Fern to her advantage.

She tells Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) that she plans to find Fern and make her pay for everything she’s put her through. So, she heads off to the country club, dressed up like Fern. She pretends to be Fern and tries to convince the receptionist to give her Fern’s address.

Unfortunately, her ruse didn’t go according to her plan. The receptionist was not willing to give out the information she needed. As she prepares to head home, a man approaches her and reveals that he’s Fern’s ex-husband.

Before he revealed his connection to Fern, Bernie tried so hard to convince him that she was her. But when he didn’t buy the ruse, Bernie had no choice but to come clean. She explained why she was looking for his ex-wife and told him about the robbery.Fern’s ex-husband wasn’t surprised by what Bernie said and agreed that his ex-wife was a con artist.

Will he be willing to help Bernie get out of trouble?
