Coronation Street’s Amy Barlow Continues To Experience Trauma Over Aaron Issue

Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that Amy Barlow experienced another trauma attack during her night out with Summer.

In the previous episode of the longest-running soap, Aaron’s dad threatened to sue Amy after she posted some details about her unconsented night with Aaron. The young lady then talked to Adam about the matter until she spotted Aaron outside.

Once again, the rapist stuck to what he believed in, which was Amy agreeing to get intimate with him. Meanwhile, Summer and Amy bumped into Aaron and Eric, leading the latter to suggest that Amy must write a retraction to stop the issue.

Later that day, when the rape victim stepped back into their home, she overheard Steve and Tracy talking about their daughter’s libel case. Determined to help their child, the couple tried to squeeze everything they have just to source some money.

They even decided to let go of their beloved flower shop business just to support Amy’s costly legal case. Moreover, if the two will sell the shop, it will end up Billy, Paul, and Summer homeless.

After knowing their financial struggles, Amy decided to consider Eric’s advice and started to write a public retraction. Meanwhile, the table turned when Aaron dropped the legal case as guilt started to wrap around his soul. After acknowledging his mistake, the young man then left the cobbles.

During the recent scenes of “Coronation Street,” Amy tried to focus on her future following Aaron’s decision to drop the libel case. She happily told Summer about her plans to spend more time on her studies. However, her tutor gave the youngster some bad news – she needed to repeat the whole school year.

As a result, Amy got disheartened and decided to just drop out of the university. On the other hand, determined to help her friend, Summer told her that they will be redoing the whole year together. Ecstatic about her friend’s support, Amy agreed with the idea and they decided to get a drink to celebrate.

As they enjoyed the night together, the young lady saw a man drag his drunk wife to the dancefloor. Amy then saw flashbacks of her traumatic night with Aaron, leading her to grab the man and confronted him about his behavior.

Summer came to intervene in the commotion and led her friend outside to throw up. Exhausted with the recent happening, Amy returned home and brought herself to bed.
