Coronation Street’s Cassie Plummer Hides The Horrible Attack from Tyrone

Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that Cassie Plummer has not been completely honest with her son, Tyrone.

In the previous episode of the longest-running soap, Cassie introduced herself to her long-lost son when she was back in the cobbles with Evelyn.

It all started when she asked permission from her mom to grab some coffee, but she went straight to the Bistro instead.

As she arrived at the place, she saw Tyrone happily recording Hope and Ruby’s presentation in the Little Big Shotz show.

Right after the show, the matriarch approached Tyrone and calmly tried to introduce herself as his mom. However, everything went chaotic went Evelyn popped into the scene and tried to stop her daughter from dropping the bombshell.

The determined woman then blurted out and came clean with the truth which made Evelyn furious at her daughter for creating a huge mess.

On the other hand, Tyrone expressed his disappointment to his grandma and sent her out of their home.

However, instead of looking for somewhere to stay, she met her drug dealer, Dean Turnbull. Upon seeing Cassie, the man was furious over the money she owed him.

On the other hand, Michael Bailey was alarmed when their argument got physical and found Cassie falling to the ground.

He then sent the woman to the hospital not knowing that Dean was following them and later attacked Michael. The moment he punched the man, Ronnie arrived and witnessed the chaotic event.

He then suggested reporting Dean to the authorities, but Cassie stopped them from doing so.

On the other hand, Tyrone looked over Weatherfield to find his mom until Cassie popped into their house with a bandage on her arm.

The concerned son asked about her whereabouts, but Cassie hid the truth from him. She stated that her injury was due to running for a bus.

Though her statement was from the truth, Tyron believed his mom and offered her painkillers.

During her recent interview, Claire Sweeney discussed her character in the soap. “She is determined to do her best to try and stay clean, but at the end of the day, she’s an addict.

Addicts fall off the wagon sometimes. She would do everything she can within her power but it’s an illness. She can’t always control it and it isn’t going to be easy for any of them,” the actress to Metro.co.uk.
