In the previous episode of the longest-running soap, Stephen was in angry mode when everyone gathered around for Sally’s birthday. It all started when Elaine spotted her Tai Chi instructor, Gerry, and spent her time talking to him. Moreover, the villain got extremely annoyed when his fiancée invited the man to join them in the celebration. After the simple gathering, the couple arrived home.

Irritated with Elaine’s story, Stephen made a rude face about the situation leaving the woman horrified as she can see him right in the reflection in the microwave window. “I see you, Stephen, in the reflection,” Elaine stated.
As always, the villain got his excuse and walked out of the room. Due to her fiancé’s behavior, the horrified Elaine then remembered her abusive ex-husband, Geoff.
Moreover, Stephen’s annoyance leveled up when he spotted Elaine and Gerry together after their Tai Chi session. He spent some time observing the two, and as they got closer to his location, he immediately covered himself behind a bin. As a result, the villain was cursing under his breath as he thought that he already lost control of Elaine because of Gerry.

In the recent scenes of “Coronation Street,” Elaine started to investigate her fiancé’s shenanigans after she discovered Stephen’s evil side.
As she went through the villain’s belongings, she saw a picture of Stephen’s ex-wife, Gabrielle, alongside the Platt family. Her suspicions grew as she once caught the man having a Zoom call with Gabrielle whom he claimed to be someone else.
Elaine then expressed her worries to her son, Tim, and told him about the red box which contained Stephen’s important files.
The loving son cracked the box open and found a joint life insurance paper for Stephen and his mom. Moreover, Elaine was left horrified as she noticed the forged signature on the said document.
