Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that Elaine got a jaw-dropping moment as she discovered Stephen’s true colors. In the previous episode of the longest-running soap, Elaine almost met her end when she unknowingly took caffeine pills instead of her blood pressure medication.

The woman collapsed but was able to call for help when she gained her senses back. Though he acted concerned, Stephen was furious when the doctor announced that his fiancée can come home the next day.
Determined to get rid of the woman, Stephen looked for another way to finally get his freedom and enjoy Elaine’s money. He started to manipulate his fiancée’s mind to ruin her relationship with her son, Tim.
The villain advised Elaine to write a letter to her son expressing her immense disappointment for not showing support for her upcoming wedding. Stephen then started making a story about the woman’s mental situation.
He once reached out to Dr. Gaddas and expressed his worries over Elaine’s deep sadness as she might do undesirable actions. Moreover, Stephen approached Sally and stated his tale about his fiancée. As a result, Sally talked to her husband, Tim, as she thought that the matriarch really suffered from depression after their recent conflict.
Stephen Reid Gets Pissed with Elaine

In the recent scenes of “Coronation Street,” Stephen was not in the right mood to chill out when they gathered at the bistro for Sally’s birthday. It all started when Elaine eyed her Tai Chi instructor, Gerry, at the venue. When Sally started to talk about the class, Elaine invited the man to join them for their meal.
After the simple birthday celebration, Stephen and Elaine went home and the latter couldn’t hide her happiness over the meal. She also got a huge smile on her face talking about Gerry getting along with everyone. “He fitted right in!” she uttered.
Elaine Jones Learns Stephen’s True Nature
Amidst hearing Elaine’s story, Stephen turned his back to her and made a rude face about the situation. However, the mood changed when the woman got horrified when she saw her fiancé’s reaction to the reflection in the microwave window. “I see you, Stephen, in the reflection,” Elaine stated.
As always, the villain got his excuse and said that he was just getting food out of his teeth. When he left the scene, Elaine was left alarmed as she learned about Stephen’s evil side just like her ex-husband, Geoff. As hinted before, their partnership must soon come to an end as Stephen tries to win Jenny Connor again.
