Coronation Street’s Gemma Winter Worries Over Her Dangerous Mistake

Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that Gemma Winter was a bag of nerves when little Bertie ate some antidepressants unattended. In the recent episode of the longest-running soap, Gemma got a lot on her plate, especially when she discovered her brother Paul’s health crisis.

She faced more problems when Daniel Osbourne and Michael Bailey sent Bertie and Glory to her apartment for childcare. The woman got her head spinning when there were lots of things waiting for her to be done plus the pressure of looking over multiple kids at the same time.

As a result, Bernie offered to watch the children for an hour, leading Gemma to make her way to the café. Meanwhile, she found herself rushing home when Beth Tinker accused her of abandoning the children. When she arrived home, the tired woman fell asleep and didn’t realize that little Bertie went through her bag and found a package of antidepressants.

Gemma Winters Faces Consequence of Her Mistake

Later that day, Daisy and Daniel headed off to No. 5 to fetch Bertie and the problem arose when Gemma noticed her antidepressants beside the lad.

Afraid of the possible side effects, Daniel immediately rushed the child to the hospital. Though the doctor confirmed that Bertie will be fine, Gemma still put all the blame on her.

Daniel then tried to comfort the woman telling her that it could happen to anybody so she must not beat herself up. Meanwhile, Gemma received a call from Social Services and asked her about the incident. The call left the woman covered with fear as they might take her children away from her. Will Gemma face a consequence for her mistake?

Gemma Winter Breaks Down Amidst Financial Struggles

In the upcoming scenes of “Coronation Street,” Gemma cries her heart out when multiple problems attack her all at once. Following her discovery of Paul’s condition, with the help of Bernie, she raises a fundraising event – a chili-eating competition. They successfully gather £800 and keep the amount for Paul’s MND equipment.

Meanwhile, Chesney tells Joseph that he might not join the summer club due to their shortage of money. Gemma gets disheartened seeing Joseph sad about the matter, leading her to ask for an extra shift at the pub to provide for the youngster’s upcoming activity. Later in the week, Rita visits Gemma and the latter breaks down in tears as she states her current life struggles.
