Coronation Street’s Stephen Reid Plans to End A Life Again

Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that Stephen Reid desired to fill his hands with blood again.  In the previous episode of the longest-running soap, Stephen was not in the mood for some gathering when they stepped foot at the bistro for Sally’s birthday.

It all started when Elaine saw her Tai Chi instructor in the venue and began talking to him. When Sally opened up about their classes, Elaine invited the man to join them for a meal. As a result, Stephen continued to hold his almost lost temper.

After the simple birthday celebration, Stephen and Elaine went home and the latter couldn’t hide her happiness over the meal. She also got a huge smile on her face talking about Gerry getting along with everyone.

“He fitted right in!” she uttered. Upon hearing Elaine’s story, Stephen made a rude face about the situation leaving the woman horrified as she can see him right to the reflection in the microwave window.

“I see you, Stephen, in the reflection,” Elaine stated. The villain was shocked about the confrontation, but as always, he got his excuse and said that he was just getting food out of his teeth. When he left the scene, Elaine was left alarmed as she learned about Stephen’s evil side just like her ex-husband, Geoff.

Stephen Reid Gets Mad Over Elaine and Gerry’s Closeness

In the recent scenes of “Coronation Street,” Elaine was over the moon when Tim, Steve, and Sally joined her for a Tai Chi class. After their fun session together, Elaine and Gerry decided to head out together. Little did they know; Stephen was just around the corner observing the two of them.

As they got closer to his location, the villain immediately covered himself behind a bin. When the coast was clear, he returned to the street staring right at Elaine and Gerry. He was cursing under his breath as the two planned to spend more time together. Will Stephen stain his hands with Gerry’s blood?

Paula Wilcox Talks About Elaine and Gerry’s Storyline

During her latest interview, Paula Wilcox shared her character’s close friendship with Gerry. “I think it’s really just meeting another man who seems terribly nice and also being into a healthy lifestyle,” the actress told Metro.co.uk. She also stated that Tai Chi helps Elaine to stay positive amidst Stephen’s stressful life.

Moreover, Wilcox shared Elaine’s desire to be part of the class, and meeting someone as nice and kind as Gerry made the it more fun. “For Elaine, when she meets him, there’s no question that he’s a rival to Stephen, what there is, is just a genuine fondness starting to develop for someone who is kind,” she uttered.
