Last November 1, “EastEnders” aired the episode in which the schoolgirl Bailey (Kara-Leah Fernandes) showed eagerness to highlight climate change in a way that she was convincing the people of Walford to sign the petition for meat-free Mondays.
In last night’s scenes (November 2), it seems like Bailey successfully encouraged the residents, for they worked with her in making meat-free Mondays possible.
EastEnders Spoilers – Tiffany Butcher Approches Her Sister
Meanwhile, Tiffany Butcher (Maisie Smith) approached her sister Whitney (Shona McGarty) while watching a video from Corrie’s Weatherfield residents: “Have you seen what this mum from Weatherfield has been doing for her little boy with asthma?”
The clip is about “Coronation Street” concerned mother Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) throwing her opinions about air pollution to Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford). Maria was very upset about the idea of clearing Red Rec park to give space for a new road.
Maria planned to organize a demonstration outside the council building with the help of Ken (William Roache), Daniel (Rob Mallard), Aggie (Lorna Laidlaw), Roy (David Neilson), and Mary (Patti Clare). However, the unsupportive Craig (Colson Smith) opposes their decisions and breaks what they have started.
Tiffany enjoyed the video from Weatherfield and said, “Environmental stuff is buzzing right now. You know Bailey – her vegan chat has gone viral.”
EastEnders Spoilers – Meat Free Project
Everyone in Walford appreciated Bailey’s meat-free project except for Peter Beale (Dayle Hudson) who was alone in refusing the schoolgirl’s campaign even if his grandmother Kathy (Gillian Taylforth) is encouraging him to look for its brighter side.
‘EastEnders’ Trends on Twitter as Weatherfield Residents Appears at Walford
While Bailey’s meat-free campaign went viral on Walford, the avid viewers of EastEnders made noise on social media when they saw the people from Weatherfield appear in Walford through a video clip.
One tweeted with a laughing emoji, “Ahhh Maria Connor is trending in Walford #EastEnders #Corrie.”
Somebody was stunned by Maria Connor’s appearance in EastEnders, “Seeing Maria’s rant from last night’s #Corrie on #EastEnders is bizarre.”
“Wait, so Walford and Weatherfield exist in the same universe?” another one was surprised by the crossover and tagged “Coronation Street” and “EastEnders’” Twitter page.
The major UK soaps will continue to surprise fans as there will be more crossovers to happen in its upcoming episodes, just like how “Emmerdale’s” Liam and Amelia made the viewers of “Coronation Street” happy when they appeared dancing on the show.
