EastEnders Spoilers: Phil Mitchell Drops A Bomb – Is Grant Mitchell Returning?

EastEnders spoilers indicate that Grant Mitchell may be returning, but all is not as it seems. As a matter of fact, the popular character could be returning to Albert Square but with one huge physical change in his appearance that is bound to shock everyone. Grant first arrived in Walford back in 1990 but hasn’t been seen on the highly-rated BBC soap since September of 2016.

Phil recently dropped a bombshell on EastEnders by telling everyone that his brother will be arriving sooner than expected. He revealed that he has just returned from Portugal after spending some much needed quality time with his sibling. He told his wife Sharon (Letitia Dean) in their kitchen, Phil said: “Grant was asking after you.”
Sharon replied with: “Of course he was! How is he?”

After some back and forth banter (including Sharon teasing Grant about seeing a “slapper” in Portugal) Phil admits that he’s had quite a few heart-to-heart conversations with Grant and that he’s discovered a new side of him. He tells Sharon, “Well, Grant has sort of opened up my eyes. You should have seen him! He’s like a beached whale hoovering up all the chips! I said to him, ‘You’ve gone soft. You’re not Grant Mitchell anymore.’”

It’s without a doubt that EastEnders viewers are intrigued just to see how Grant looks these days. Obviously, everyone will be in for a surprise if he returns, and the soap has certainly been dropping hints that he is on his way home.
