Eastenders Spoilers: Whoopi Goldberg To Guest Star On BBC Soap?

Eastenders spoilers indicate that fans might soon see a huge Hollywood star make her way to Walford in the coming weeks. In fact, there’s a new report that suggests actress and television personality Whoopi Goldberg might make a cameo on Eastenders!

According to Britain’s Express.co.uk, Whoopi Goldberg might guest star on the BBC One soap after a cast member delivered a very special invitation. Whoopi was actually on the television talk show Loose Women last week when actor Adam Woodyatt sent her a video message.

He said, “Hey Whoopi, well I’ve heard you know who I am because you’re a big fan of Eastenders. But for anybody on the panel who doesn’t know, I’m Adam Woodyatt, I’ve been Ian Beale for the last 34 years. Whoopi, I can’t believe it – you were in Star Trek and you watch Eastenders! I’m so chuffed! I can’t show it to you at the moment because we’ve got secret filming going on for Christmas… because nobody knows that Christmas is coming. If you ever want a trip round the Square, I’ve followed you on Twitter. DM me and we’ll sort it out.”

Whoopi said during her interview on Loose Women that she’s a huge fan of Eastenders, but unfortunately the highly-rated soap has been taken off the air in the United States.

She said, “I was kind of in shock because they’ve taken EastEnders away from us in the States, and it’s really kind of sad. Look, I like stuff that has a little time on it. No-one looks live they’ve just been done. EastEnders, it’s exactly what you expect when you go down a street. Because people look like people, unlike ours.”
