According to a video uploaded to twitter today, the mural will be captioned with the following tag: “Shakil, died age 17. End knife crime now.”
Apparently, it’s going to be Shakil’s mother Carmel (Bonnie Langford) who will be behind the move as the clip sees her watching the poster being installed. Unfortunately, it’s not going to be the happy or moving movement that everyone will look forward to together. That’s because her efforts will soon be slammed by a mystery character.

As a matter of fact, one passerby can’t help but tell her, “Don’t waste your time. You ain’t going to change anything, it’s just life now.”
Shakil was killed earlier this year during a knife attack at the Queen Vic pub alongside his friend, Keegan Taylor. He managed to survive the brutal attack.
Carmel is left shocked at the stranger and his words. To complicate matters even more, there’s another clip that sees Carmel yelling at Keegan in a separate argument. She tells him, “You’re no better than the kid who killed him.” It looks like some major drama is brewing!
