EastEnders Spoilers: Newcomer Ray Kelly Has A Huge Secret That’s Bound To Be Exposed

“EastEnders” is bringing a new character to the scene, and he is going to cause trouble. Ray Kelly (Sean Mahon) will arrive along with a mysterious secret about his past that is bound to be revealed.

Ray is Mel Owen’s (Tamzin Outhwaite) ex-husband, who decides to come back after learning that Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) is planning a marriage proposal to Mel. “EastEnders” has also already revealed that Hunter Owen, who is having a hard time in Walford, contacted Ray. Hunter and Ray have a close relationship.

While what Ray’s appearance would mean to Mel, Hunter and even Jack, is still under wraps, Mahon teased about the role he is going to play. The actor told Metro that Ray has a mysterious character, and being the brother of crime boss Ciara Maguire (Denise McCormack), people can expect him to be similar.

The apple “doesn’t fall far from the tree” after all, he explained to the publication. Mahon also teased that his role as Ray is much darker than the previous roles he played in other projects.

Moreover, he said that Ray has similarities with Jack, and their likeness is what’s going to cause them to go head to head. “I think they are two sides of a very similar coin, Jack has a past, he certainly isn’t squeaky clean,” Mahon teased to Metro.

That past is bound to be exposed. “EastEnders” spoilers tease that when Ray arrives, Hunter will give him a tour of Walford. Hunter then will notice that Ray has a burner phone, which will prompt him to ask questions. Ray tries to shush it by saying that he just needs to tie some loose ends, and Hunter agreed to keep quiet.

Meanwhile, the shocking shooting puzzle continues, with Stuart Highway gravely injured. While we are still trying to figure out who shot him, spoilers said that Stuart’s condition would start to deteriorate. An arrest will be made by the end of the week, but will the police get the right suspect?
