Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that Griff Reynolds (Michael Condron) will return to the soap. His story will be revisited next week as Spider Nugent (Martin Hancock) visits him in prison.

Viewers last saw corrie’s evil villain in early January when he finally got his comeuppance for all the crimes he committed. In upcoming scenes, he’ll be back on screen as Spider offers a reduced sentence in exchange for giving up the source of the funds he used for his illegal activities.

Spider managed to infiltrate the extremist group. Even though he didn’t discover the identity of Griff’s financer, but he knew for a fact that he had one.

Fans already know that the money came from councilor Len Cameron (Mark Murphy). The latter wanted Griff’s help in promoting his right-wing agenda. However, he had no idea that the extremist leader would go that far.

Coronation Street - Griff Reynolds (Michael Condron)

Will Griff take Spider up on his offer? Spider is in prison after Max Turner (Paddy Bever) turned to turn against him for planting a bomb at the Weatherfield Peace Market. Everybody was safe thanks to Alya Nazir’s (Sair Khan) heroism when she drove off the van bomb to some wasteland.

Max may have raised the alarm about the bomb, but he was still arrested for encouraging terrorism when someone blamed his racist online videos as the reason behind the stabbing incident at Speed Daal. Max will spend six months in a secure training unit after pleading guilty to the charge.

Coronation Street Spoilers – David’s Struggles

As Max spends his time at the training center, David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd) will receive news that the teenager gets attacked by bullies. David struggles to cope with his problems involving Max, so he turns to the bottle at Victoria Garden.

Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) comforts David, but the latter tries to make a move on her. Maria is disgusted by his drunken advances and tells him to go home. Later on, Shona Platt (Julia Goulding) returns to Weatherfield and tells David that they’ll face their problems together. But she’ll get the word about David’s attempt to kiss Maria and decides to leave him for good.

Maria will try to explain that David was just drunk when he tried to kiss her, and it didn’t mean anything. Will Shona listen to Maria’s explanations and give David another chance?
