50 Cents seems to believe Jay-Z shouldn’t be having fun when he’s in the middle of a serious scandal that could heavily impact his reputation and career.
But if he didn’t do anything wrong, why should he stay home because some money-grabber wanted him to part with his millions?
50 Cent – Mocks Jay-Z’s Response To Being Accused of Pedophilia
Jay-Z has got 99 problems and 50 Cents is one of them. The rapper and producer showed up at the ‘Mufasa: The Lion King’ premiere in Los Angeles in support of his wife Beyoncé and daughter Blue Ivy, both of whom voiced characters in the film.
Clad in a black suit, the rapper posed for pics with his wife and daughter during the rare red carpet appearance on Monday. Blue Ivy voiced Kiara, the daughter of Simba and Nala, which in turn was voiced by the “Halo” hitmaker, in the prequel film to “The Lion King,” exploring the story of Mufasa.
However, since the appearance more or less coincided with Tony Buzbee – the lawyer of a girl who alleges she was sexually assaulted by Sean “Diddy” Combs and Jay-Z at age 13 – claiming that Jay-Z’s team has been harassing him since the suit was filed, 50 Cents saw it in bad taste.
In a since-deleted tweet shared by multiple online platforms, 50 Cent, 49, shared a photo of Jay-Z, Blue Ivy Carter and Beyoncé at the Dec. 9 premiere of ‘Mufasa: The Lion King’ to his fans on Instagram, captioning the post, “Jay said they said I rapped [sic] a kid, everybody get dressed we going to see Mufasa LOL.”
What Jay-Z Has Said About the Rape Allegations
In response, Jay-Z advised Tony Buzbee to upgrade the civil lawsuit to a criminal one since the crime they were accusing him of was actually a very serious and concerning one.
In the statement, he noted that the crimes he is accused of is “so heinous in nature that I implore you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil one!! Whomever would commit such a crime against a minor should be locked away, would you not agree?”
He also accused Buzbee of “blackmail,” revealing that the attorney banged on him paying up to avoid a scandal.
Continuing in his statement, Carter stressed that his “only heartbreak” is for his family. “My wife and I will have to sit our children down, one of whom is at the age where her friends will surely see the press and ask questions about the nature of these claims, and explain the cruelty and greed of people. I mourn yet another loss of innocence. Children should not have to endure such at their young age,” he said.
