Abby Lee Miller Wasn’t Invited To Reunion Because Of Her Toxic Drama With The Young Dancers

Abby Lee Miller Wasn't Invited To Reunion Because Of Her Toxic Drama With The Young DancersAbby Lee Miller may feel that what she’s done for the young dancers is beautiful – “they know they would never be where they are today if it wasn’t for the show” in her own words – but the kids apparently don’t feel the same way.

While it’s weird that a reunion for ‘Dance Moms’ should happen without the OG dance coach, it’s totally understandable when you remember the amount of pressure she put on those little kids to perform at the time.

‘Dance Moms’ Insider Claims The Trauma Inflicted By Abby Lee Miller Still Lingers

Abby Lee Miller may have started the whole ‘Dance Moms’ thing and grown it to be incredibly good, but she did inflict some damage on the children who were under her tutelage.

Happily, it did not have any ginormous effects on them because as we saw from the reunion, while some of them danced still and are great at it, others went on to attend university and graduate.

Even though they all couldn’t return – Maddie Ziegler, Nia Sioux, and a few others passed on the chance to return – those who did reportedly couldn’t bear to share the stage with their former dance coach.

An insider told Radar Online: “Cast members drew a line in the sand, refusing to share the stage with Abby Lee Miller. The scars of their past experiences with her run deep — and the mere thought of being in her presence again was too much to bear! The trauma inflicted by Abby still lingers, casting a dark shadow over any potential reconciliation.”

Following the reunion, Jojo Siwa revealed that the producers of the show had tried to pressure her into calling Abby in the middle of filming, with returnees Brooke Hyland, Paige Hyland, Chloe Lukasiak, Kendall Vertes and Kalani Hilliker present.

“And I was like, ‘Absolutely not.’ That is where I put my foot down,” Siwa said. “I was like, ‘I’m not only putting myself in an awkward position of calling in this environment, that no one invited her to, but also I’m putting Abby in a weird situation where she is talking to people who she doesn’t necessarily know how to talk to them.”
