There has been speculation that Adele and her sports agent beau Rich Paul had hit a snag in their romance. However, the “Hello” singer has confirmed that her love life is going perfectly well with a cheeky but direct Instagram caption.
No Trouble In Paradise
Amid rumors that she was pulling out from her BRIT Awards performance on February 8 as well as talk of her split with Paul, the Grammy winner killed two birds with one stone on social media. The 33-year-old singer took to Instagram to share a candid pic of herself laughing with the caption “Hiya, so I’m really happy to say that I am performing at the Brits next week,” adding “Anddddd I’ll also be popping in to see Graham [Norton] for a chat on the couch while I’m in town too! I’m looking forward to it! Oh, and Rich sends his love.”
Fans of the singer were buzzing with happiness over her post. One wrote, “Tell ‘em Adele!” with another adding “STOP I’M SO HAPPY RN [right now].” A third person exclaimed “YASSS QUEEN. “
Dramatic Weeks For Adele
Adele has had a lot of drama in her life in the past few weeks. Her return to the Brits stage comes just weeks after the singer announced that she’d have to postponed her much- anticipated Las Vegas residency.
On January 20 – just a day before the concert was supposed to start- the singer posted a video saying, “Listen, I’m so sorry but my show ain’t ready. We’ve tried absolutely everything that we can to pull it together in time and for it to be good enough for you, but we’ve been absolutely destroyed by delivery delays and COVID.”
She also said she was “so upset” and “really embarrassed,” explaining that half of her team had caught Covid, tearfully adding “It’s been impossible to finish the show. I’m gutted and I’m sorry it’s so last minute. We’ve been awake for over 30 hours now trying to figure it out and we’ve run out of time.”
