AGT Season 18 Preview – Simon Cowell Concerns Fans
Fans noticed something weird about Simon Cowell. In the new preview clip for Season 18 of America’s Got Talent, the British judge’s voice sounded different. One fan took to Reddit to share a clip of the preview for a recent episode. The user expressed concern about Simon.
“This is what the show is all about,” Simon Cowell says in the clip.
However, some fans noticed that his voice sounded deeper and raspier. They wonder if he was under the weather. One fan titled the Reddit thread, “Season 18 and Simon Cowell’s Voice.” Other fans took to the thread to react to the concerning video. Even those who attended the Season 18 tapings of AGT shared their thoughts on Simon’s voice during those days.
“Yeah, the first half of tapings his voice was completely gone, the second half it recovered but for a few days it was still raspy,” one fan noted.

“Yes, it was but when I went for the 2nd time it was on April 1st and his voice was already recovering,” another fan responded.
Simon Cowell has dealt with his share of health struggles over the years. He’s kept some of them under wraps. Back in February 2022, he was hospitalized after he fell off his bike.
Simon wasn’t wearing a helmet at the time and he propelled over the handlebars. He ended up with a broken arm and a serious concussion.

Simon Cowell was in another accident prior to that event. He broke his back while riding his e-bike around Los Angeles. He was “lucky to be alive,” an insider told The U.S. Sun at the time. He’s realizing that he’s no longer the young man who is free to do whatever he wants.
Simon also had to change his lifestyle. He no longer drinks alcohol and has removed sugar from his diet. He lost a lot of weight as a result of his new diet. However, Simon is still riding his bike despite ending up in an accident twice.
