Al Roker repeatedly has become a viral trend. But the reason doesn’t relate to his famous career as a weatherman. And instead, it relates to the Tesla craze.

Because after getting so excited about the popularity of the futuristic electric cars that he purchased one, Al struggles to get it to work. And both Roker and his wife, ABC broadcaster Deborah Roberts, keep getting caught at war with their Tesla. Get all the details below.
Al Roker’s – Wife Battles His Tesla, Loses Electric Car War!
Ever made an expensive purchase that you regretted? Al Roker and Deborah Roberts don’t want to admit it. But some suspect that the weatherman and his wife suffer from buyer’s remorse over their Tesla. And Page Six reported on several occasions where both Al and his wife Deborah Roberts got caught at war with their Model X.
For instance, in November Roker’s wife faced a challenge with the couple’s Tesla. It happened after Roker got rushed to the hospital. And so Deborah tried to follow the ambulance in the car. But after trying repeatedly, the journalist couldn’t get the Tesla doors to open. And so observers watched her break into the electric car.
After her break-in, Roberts managed to get her cell phone. And she then took a cab to the hospital, leaving the impossible dream of her electric car actually functioning properly behind. Deborah felt extremely upset, according to an insider. Because she left her phone inside their Tesla, she tried to smash a window when the malfunctioning Model X wouldn’t unlock.

Al Roker – Can’t Get Tesla Door To Close After Elegant Brunch
But the weatherman himself just experienced his own version of a futuristic car nightmare. And this time, it happened after an posh brunch at a chic restaurant on Sunday. But although the meal went well, driving off didn’t.
“Al was sitting in the car trying everything he could think of to get the door to close,” shared an observer. And the source revealed that the Today show weatherman tried calling someone to get help. However, when that failed, Roker acted like a superhero. And he managed to manhandle the door shut. But as the source pointed out, that action “may not be great for a car with motorized doors.”
However, Roker and Roberts seem to experience repeated car trouble. For instance, several years ago, the two decided to enjoy an apple-picking excursion in Massachusetts. But while the apple-picking went great, the car rebelled. And the weatherman and journalist ended up with their car stuck in a hole. Eventually, a tow truck rescued them.
