Hey guys, the Karen rain forecasting gag is not funny, at least not to the actress that played the part. Apparently, Amanda Seyfried was not pleased when people would make fun of her breasts in reference to her famous character in “Mean Girls”.

The film may have shot Amanda Seyfried into instant stardom, but there were downsides to it.

Her break came in the form of a popular 2001 teen movie “Mean Girls” co-starring fellow up-and-coming young stars Lindsay Lohan and Rachel MacAdams.

Back when the movie came out, Seyfried says that every once in a while someone would recognize her as Karen from “Mean Girls”. Mostly, it would be boys asking her if she could tell whether it was raining — a reference to her character Karen who can tell the weather with her breasts.

“I always felt really grossed out by that,” she said. “I was like 18 years old. It was just gross.”

Seyfried went from Starring in “Mean Girls” to “Mamma Mia”. After starring in the romance drama “Dear John, Letters to Juliet”, her career hit an high, and in 2013, in order to get away from all the “terrible” sides of Hollywood fame, she bought a stone farm house at a small town in upstate New York, away from the Hollywood central Los Angeles.

“I think being really famous [young] must really fucking suck.

“It must make you feel completely unsafe in the world. I see these younger actors who think they have to have security. They think they have to have an assistant. They think their whole world has changed. It can get stressful. I’ve seen it happen to my peers. So, I bought a farm. I was like, let’s go in the opposite way.”
