Amber Heard Goes Viral On TikTok For Giggles Amid Teen Suicide Speech

Amber Heard may have hoped that the end of her trial against Johnny Depp would dim the spotlight on the actress. But the opposite appears to have occurred. And some of Depp’s fans even have hunted for ways to keep mocking Amber. As a result, several have found old videos to resurface.

Teen suicide has become an increasing concern for parents, teachers, and others who seek to guide young people. But as shown in a resurfaced video, Amber Heard found something humorous in a speech on that topic. And the clip quickly went viral on TikTok, noted Newsweek.

In the video, Amber teams up with another actor, Zachary Quinto, for The Trevor Project’s 2011 Trevor Live! event. The two stars united on December 4, 2011, in Los Angeles, California, to address how The Trevor Project saved teens in the LGBTQ community through its work. Part of the project includes the Trevor Space, which supports LGBTQ young people in the age range from 13 to 24. In addition, the group runs a suicide prevention hotline.

Amber and Zachary stood on the Hollywood Palladium stage to try to move the crowd about the Trevor Space’s efforts to save teens’ lives. And Quinto succeeded, with Heard politely applauding her fellow actor after his speech. However, Amber then studied a script from which she read for her turn at addressing the audience. And when a cell phone suddenly rang in the audience, Heard giggled amid her supposedly moving speech.

However, the actress didn’t flawlessly continue her speech after laughing. For some unknown reason, Amber added to the distraction from the topic of teen suicide. And she spoke to the person who owned that loud phone ring. “Thank you, I needed that so much. Jennifer, I see you, you planned that!” joked Heard amid discussing bullying.

After she laughed, Amber returned to her script about a girl getting bullied at school and receiving help from the hotline. But Heard also complained that she did not feel prepared. “You know, they sent me a script in the email today,” stated Amber. “And they did not send [Zachary’s] speech. I wish they had, or else I’d have prepared. So I’m sorry if I stumble through my bit. But I wasn’t prepared to hear that.”

Social media didn’t accept that explanation for Amber’s giggles. And they united in slamming her for laughing amid the serious topic. For instance, one wrote, “@realamberheard in a nutshell. Laughing and making jokes about teen suicide and fist pumping DV.” And several alleged that Heard seems “incapable of empathy.” But one kept the criticism simple. “Batsh*t crazy!” wrote the commentator.
