Such a book would offer two advantages. First, Heard could get revenge on Depp. And second, the actress could profit from such a memoir. But in the process, could she risk a new lawsuit? Get the details below!
Amber Heard – To Pen Revenge Johnny Depp Memoir?!
In the wake of losing the defamation trial against Johnny Depp, Amber Heard reportedly wants to tell her side of the story. And rumors have soared that the actress envisions a tell-all revenge memoir as one way of achieving that goal. But would Amber risk yet another lawsuit if she goes too far in such a book? An insider spilled the tea to OK magazine.
Because the actress fears that her career in Hollywood has ended, she sees a memoir as a possible next step, according to the insider. “Amber considers her career in Hollywood over. She’s already in talks and is excited about it. At this point, she has nothing to lose and wants to tell all,” claimed the source.
And the insider also pointed to the potential to make money as an incentive. Heard, 36, allegedly has become “broke,” added the source. As a result, Amber reportedly does not feel “in a position to turn down money.” But one expert warned of the possible results of a tell-all revenge book!
Amber Heard – To Risk Lawsuit With Tell-All Book?
Johnny Depp already won in the defamation trial. Because of that history, insiders warned that Amber could face even more legal trouble if she destroys his reputation in a new memoir. And an expert pointed out that Heard faces challenges in her future.
“The verdict in Virginia after weeks of lurid testimony was devastating to the credibility and reputation of Amber Heard,” said Dror Bikel. Author of The 1 Percent Divorce, When Titans Clash, the expert pointed out Heard’s credibility problem. “The jurors essentially found that Heard was not believable in many respects,” noted Bikel.
Because the jurors “rejected her testimony in its entirety,” the author expressed concern about Amber’s future ability to succeed in Hollywood. For instance, Bikel noted, “One juror even commented that she was not believable when she cried on the witness stand. Johnny Depp was awarded $10,0000, which is an amount of money Heard cannot pay.”
However, the author warned Amber about the risks of penning a memoir. “To the extent that Heard wants to discuss this case and her relationship with Depp in a tell-all statement or book, she needs to be extremely careful as to what she says about him,” cautioned Bikel. “Depp and his attorneys will be reading and listening to everything that Heard states. If she crosses the line, which is likely, there is no question that she will be hit with another defamation suit and end up right back in court.”
