Amber Heard Heads To Bargain Store, Runs From Paparazzi!

From lavish spending to… a bargain store? Amber Heard just got spotted looking through the racks at a store known for low prices, per TMZ. However, when the actress noticed the paparazzi, she reportedly dashed out of the T.J. Maxx in New York.

Prior to seeing the cameras, though, Amber enjoyed hunting for bargains with her sister Whitney Henriquez. Whitney has accompanied Heard on various outings lately after testifying for her sibling. But the bargain store sighting underscores the rumors that the actress may need to pay millions that she lacks. Whatever the truth, Amber reportedly got overheard contemplating the importance of white linen pants.

While Heard studied white linen pants, her lawyers have admitted to financial concerns for the actress. The jury awarded Johnny Depp $8.3 million in damages. But Amber reportedly cannot afford to pay that sum. Meanwhile, social media offered suspicions about the bargain store shopping sighting. 

Social Media Mocks Amber Heard Amid Her Financial Woes

In response to the sight of Amber Heard at a bargain store, social media got nasty. For instance, one wrote, “So TMZ cameras just happen to be in a TJ Maxx looking for B list celebs? Of course she tipped you off again TMZ. You guys have a super close relationship 🙄.” And some felt that Amber had teamed up with TMZ for a public relations stunt. “As if anyone would believe this PR stunt. Since when do celebrities no longer get designer clothes as gifts? They get boxes of it every day, don’t they? Heard is so transparent it hurts,” posted another critic. 

And another tweeted in response, ” ‘I owe millions so I’ll tip off TMZ that I’m shopping in a bargain store to make it look like I’m struggling, so that Johnny feels sorry for me and let’s me off the money.’ There’s no way her ego would let her shop there publicly otherwise.” Others concurred. For example, one shared, “I hope Johnny Depp sticks to his guns and takes the money. It was awarded to him.” 

However, Heard faces challenges. She reportedly has gotten paid for “Aquaman 2,” but that money does not cover the amount she owes to Depp. And though Amber has linked her daughter to stepping back from acting, rumors have swirled that she may not get the same offers as she did before the trial.
