Amber Rose Foresaw Kim’s Divorce With Kanye

For context, Amber Rose and Kanye once dated, and that was before Kanye West and Kim Kardashian got together. The 45-year-old rapper was in another high-profile relationship with model and television personality Amber Rose from 2008 to 2010. The two eventually went their separate ways, with the Atlanta-born artist moving on and proposing to and marrying the socialite while Rose went on to date (and eventually marry) Wiz Khalifa, though they divorced in 2016.

Amber previously said that Kim was a factor in their breakup, but things didn’t end there. In 2015, Kanye said that he “had to take 30 showers before I got with Kim” after dating Amber. In a series of tweets, Amber replied, “After all these years, I never snitched on u…I’ll leave that up to the Kardashians to humiliate u when they’re done with u.”

Amber sat down with Raquel for the “It’s Tricky with Raquel Harper” podcast. When asked about the superstar couple’s separation, Amber said “I don’t have any feelings about it.” She makes it clear … she saw the divorce coming, and it’s all based on her experience with Kanye. Amber was asked if she saw the Kim-Ye divorce coming. She replied, “Of course.”

“I have my own — I don’t want to say ‘feelings’ for him, because that sounds like it’s a positive thing for Kanye — I have my own issues and feelings, how I feel about how our relationship was.”

Amber acknowledges she had her own issues with Ye, but she’s still wished him nothing but the best. Amber, who’s always been rock solid, says she’s focusing on her own life and not what her exes are doing.

Harper then pointed out that both Kardashian and Amber share the same birthday (October 21), though the socialite is several years older than the Philadelphia native. Because of this, they may share personality traits too, though Amber didn’t hesitate to clarify that there are major differences between her and the KUWTK alum.

“I think you can be similar as far as birthdays, but we grew up completely different. I grew up poor in Philly, I had to hustle and struggle and her life was very privileged with money and being out here in L.A., which is cool.”

Amber reiterated that she always wanted the best for her ex and his new boo. “I never really had any ill feelings like, ‘I hope they get divorced!’ or ‘He gon’ get his day!’ I was kinda just happy in my marriage at the time with Wiz, or even after just doing my thing, so I never really thought about them much.”

Though Kardashian’s third marriage didn’t work out in her favor, Amber noted that she seems content in her new relationship with Pete Davidson.

Amber Rose’s Feud With Kanye After Their Breakup

In 2015, when the beef between Kanye and Amber was fresh, the television personality decided to make a tweet that read: “@kanyewest I’ll leave that up to the Kardashians to humiliate u when they’re done with u.”

However, in February 2016, things seemed to have calmed down between the two as Amber was seen defending Kim. At the same time, she was also included in Kanye’s ‘Famous’ video.

It seems like Amber has moved on and is not looking back at things that took place years ago. Taking to her Instagram stories, she made it clear that she wanted to focus on the present.

Her post read: “Man, f**k that old a*s tweet. I never got an apology for his “30 showers” comment but f**k it. I started my slutwalk and helped millions of women around the world stand up for themselves against slut shaming so something amazing came out of it.”

She continued: “Kim nor her sisters deserved that tweet and y’all shouldn’t co-sign that either. Sh*t was old and immature as of me to involve a KarDASHians in the mess HE made. Moving forward… learn from my mistakes. We all have kids and family’s life is hard enough right now for a lot of people. I just wanna spread love and positivity.”
