America’s Next Top Model alum Lisa D’Amato recently called out the show over questionable actions. The fashion model was among Cycle 5’s top 13 contestants to compete on the reality show. However, during her stint on the show, she became notoriously famous among the models for speaking her mind. D’Amato finished sixth on the show after being eliminated by the judges.

However, now, the 42-year-old is opening up and has shared her opinion regarding the show. So, what did she share? Keep reading to find out the details!

America’s Next Top Model  – Recently In A Private Instagram Post, D’Amato Called Out Ken Mok, The show’s Producer, As Well As Tyra Banks.

She shared her views referencing another one of the show’s alum that shared their experience regarding the controversial series, whose 20th-anniversary premiere approaches soon in May 2023.

D’Amato asked the alum to be honest with themselves and everyone else. She also asked them not to be scared when sharing the truth about the horrible interview experience.

As she ended her post, D’Amato compared her experience on the show to the Standford Experiment. For the unversed, Stanford Prison Experiment was a highly controversial prison psychological experiment.

In the experiment, the participants had to commit to a two-week-long simulation in prison, which had to be stopped only after six days, given the drastic and deteriorating effects it had on the participants.

In addition, these participants either had to take up the role of a guard or a prisoner, and the result mostly showed that the prisoners were psychologically abused by the guards.

By comparing the show with the Stanford Experiment, it is highly likely that D’Amato was referencing the judges’ questionable actions and demeaning behavior that impacted the models psychologically.

However, D’Amato isn’t the only contestant to have called out the show and its judges for their alleged manipulation tactics and harsh critiques. Several videos from the show that went unaired have surfaced every now and then on social media citing how mentally exhausting it was for the contestants.

So, what do you think of D’Amato calling out America’s Next Top Model and the judges for their questionable behavior on the show? Share your thoughts in the comments!
