Amy Shumer – People Are Still Talking About Amy Schumer’s Joke

The 40-year-old actress made a joke about the role that seat fillers play and how they’re an important part of the Academy Awards. For those who don’t know what a seat filler does at the Academy, it’s certainly not that extras are invited to attend the occasion in order to make sure that there are enough people at the Awards ceremony.

To demonstrate to the audience how it works, Amy Schumer decided to use none other than the Oscar nominated actress Kirsten Dunst as her specimen.

Acting like she mistook Dunst, whose movie catalog includes the first “Spider-Man” franchise, “Hidden Figures” and “The Bling Ring”, Amy Schumer proceeded to ask her to stand up. While Kirsten looked confused, she nevertheless put up with it with a smile on her face.
