Brad Pitt now faces new allegations linked to his split from Angelina Jolie. And it might seem confusing at first, given that six years have passed since they broke up. Moreover, both Brad and Angelina have officially been declared single.

But a combination of their ongoing child custody case and a war over their French winery, Chateau Miraval, have kept the divorce alive in court. And Jolie’s recent cross-complaint includes new details about the plane trip in 2016 that resulted in their split. Angelina’s cross-complaint against Brad this week results from the winery war, noted Yahoo.

However, the 47-year-old actress’ filing also alleges bombshells about Pitt. And Jolie claims that he requested “a nondisclosure agreement that would have contractually prohibited her from speaking outside of court about Pitt’s physical and emotional abuse of her and their children.” Brad allegedly required her to sign that non-disclosure agreement before he would purchase Jolie’s shares of the vineyard.

However, while some details may seem familiar, specifics on Pitt’s alleged actions are new. For instance, Angelina alleges that Brad “choked one of the children and struck another in the face.” That allegation marks the first public claim that Pitt physically hurt some of the estranged couple’s six children.

In addition, the newly released details include an allegation that Brad “grabbed Jolie by the head and shook her.” The original FBI agent assigned to the 2016 case issued a recommendation that Brad face domestic violence charges. However, the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Los Angeles turned down the possibility of following up on that case.

But the new details keep emerging in the wake of Angelina selling her Chateau Miraval shares to a Russian oligarch. However, a representative for Brad denied the abuse allegations to CNN. But it appears that the war between the exes will not end soon.

When Jolie sold her half of the winery, she claimed she did so to seek “financial independence.” And she also shared that she wanted “peace and closure to this deeply painful and traumatic chapter of her and their children’s lives.” But Pitt sued Angelina because he alleges that they made an agreement that neither would sell unless the other consented. Jolie has denied such an agreement.
