Angelina Jolie And Halle Berry To Star In Upcoming Action Movies

The leading ladies of action are going to come together for an action movie that could well blow our minds. Jolie has been thrilling fans from as early as “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider” to “Mr. and Mrs. Smith.” These days, she has continued her streak by starring in action thrillers like “The Eternals” and “Those Who Wish Me Dead.”

As for Halle Berry – the mistress of action herself – she is known for portraying the morally grey superhero in “Cat Woman” and appearing as an assassin in both “Die Another Day” and “John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum.” On April 18, it was confirmed that the two Oscar winning stars have signed on to appear in an explosive new action thriller.

All The Details About the Action Thriller Starring Angelina Jolie And Halle Berry

According to Deadline, Angelina Jolie and Halle Berry have signed on to appear on “Maude v Maude,” after Warner Bros won the bidding war to produce the project. Roseanne Liang has been tapped to direct the script written by Scott Mosier.

Jolie and Berry will be producing the project, with Berry’s producing partner Holly Jeter, via their production company HalleHolly. Others producing include Jeff Kirschenbaum and Joe Roth, through RK Films. Liang and Mosier will executive produce the project.

At the moment, details about the movie’s plot is kept tighter than a safe, but a source revealed we should expect a “Bond vs. Bourne” type drama with shootings happening in different locations around the world.

Even though both Berry and Jolie have worked in the industry for over two decades, they’re yet to appear on a project together. It’s especially fascinating considering that their movie credits are mostly action thrillers.

Scott Mosier Sells Biggest Script Of His Career In Deal Secured By Warner Bros.

Getting the “Maude v Maude” deal takes Mosier to the next level as a writer, after he spent years working for Kevin Smith and helping produce some of his classic films like “Clerks,” “Mallrats” and “Dogma.”

He would later make his way into the world of animation by co-writing and producing the 3D-animated pic “Free Birds” starring Owen Wilson. He also co-directed the twist on the 2018 Christmas classic, “The Grinch,” by Illumination studios.
