Are Angelina Jolie and The Weeknd dating?  Dating rumors are flying around for the actress and the iconic “Blinding Lights” singer, but who or what could have prompted such a widespread speculation? Well, they were seen leaving the same restaurant. Coincidence, or is there something there that wasn’t there before? (Ha! Didn’t mean to go all Disney there).
According to The Sun, “The pair reportedly spent hours at the restaurant, before leaving separately to avoid raising suspicion.”

Shared Interest Between Angelina Jolie And The Weeknd

Angelina Jolie and The Weeknd (born Abel Makkonen Tesfaye) were spotted out and about together at Italian restaurant Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, Calif., the media outlet reported.

The pair might possibly have bonded over their mutual love for Ethiopia – The Weeknd, who is Canadian by birth, has both Ethiopian parents, while Angelina adopted her 16-year-old daughter Zahara Marley from the east African country.

The multi-award winning singer recently announced that he will be making $1 million in donations to Ethiopia as the country is facing social unrest in its Tigray Region, as reported by The New York Times.

The “Save Your Tears” artist shared his thoughts on Instagram about the situation in Ethiopia back in April.
“My heart breaks for my people of Ethiopia as innocent civilians ranging from small children to the elderly are being senselessly murdered and entire villages are being displaced out of fear and destruction,” The Weeknd, 31, wrote. “I will be donating $1 million to provide 2 million meals through the United Nations World Food Programme and encourage those who can to please give as well.”

On Jolie’s “date night” with The Weeknd, the “Maleficent” actress, 46, stepped out in a simple attire made up of a beige trench coat, black top and nude-pink heels. Her hair was worn straight and she finished the look with a clutch and face mask.

As for The Weeknd, he opted for a dark denim outfit from head to toe. Underneath his jacket, he wore a black tee and necklace, and rocked black boots.

While the stars are both currently single, their personal lives are very different. Angelina has been involve in a nearly five-year-long custody dispute with Brad Pitt over their six children.
