Angelina Jolie Blasts Brad Pitt For ‘Malicious’ Lawsuit

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt continue to battle. And as the latest phase of their war drags on, it doesn’t seem like it will end anytime soon. But this time, Angelina served up some ammunition in the form of blasting Brad’s lawsuit.

Angelina Jolie – Gets Irate Over Brad Pitt’s Lawsuit

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie keep fighting it out in court. And the actor’s newest lawsuit against the actress alleges she broke a promise made during their marriage. But Angelina views Brad’s lawsuit as outrageous, according to Radar.

Jolie described the lawsuit as “frivolous” and “malicious.” And the 47-year-old actress worked with her legal team to update her legal war against her 58-year-old ex husband. The battle stemmed from Brad suing Angelina when she sold her part of a $164 million French estate. The couple had purchased Chateau Miraval S.A. during their marriage.

In a classic he-said/she-said argument, Brad claims that he and Angelina planned that the estate would become a family business for their kids. And he alleged that he gave both time and money to transform the vineyard into a success. As a result, Pitt believes they made a pact never to sell a share without the other person’s approval.

Angelina first announced her desire to sell  her share of Chateau Miraval S.A. because she did not want to own a company involved in selling alcoholic beverages. But Brad alleged that the two planned to work on finding a buyer. However, Pitt alleges that Jolie stopped negotiations and sold her share. 

A Russian oligarch, Yuri Shefler, owns the company that purchased Angelina’s share. But Brad claims Shefler tried a “hostile” takeover. As a result, the actor wants the sale made invalid. However, Jolie’s company then filed a counter lawsuit. And she feels that Brad used the company’s money for so-called “vanity projects.”

But Angelina also feels she did not require Brad to approve her sale of her share. And her new documents describe Pitt’s allegations as “frivolous, malicious, and part of a problematic pattern.” Moreover, the documents question Brad’s claims that he and Angelina made a secret contract.

However, the update follows shocking allegations about Pitt becoming physically violent toward Jolie and the children. Those allegations, linked to the war over Chateau Miraval, describe Brad’s and Angelina’s negotiations falling apart. Pitt allegedly wanted Jolie to sign an agreement. That agreement would prevent her from commenting on any of the alleged physical and/or emotional abuse, noted Hollywood Life.
