Angelina Jolie Challenges Brad Pitt Winery Allegations: Inside Their Feud!

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have battled for years over various aspects of their divorce. For instance, the actress and actor can’t seem to resolve custody of their six children. And now a winery has fueled their feud.

Both Angelina and Brad offer very different views on the winery shares. And in some ways, the she-said/he-said battle even resembles that of Amber Heard and Johnny Depp. Get the details on Jolie’s and Pitt’s latest war below.

As a result of the Château Miraval sale, Brad Pitt  and Angelina Jolie have fueled their feud. And once again, the estranged couple’s battle involves conflicting views. But an insider told People that Brad’s new legal filing over that sale represents a “false narrative.”

The history of the newest war between Pitt and Jolie dates back to 2008. That year marked the then-couple’s investment in the South of France home and vineyard Château Miraval. And the controlling stake represented more than money. For instance, Brad and Angelina tied the knot there in 2014. And they also enjoyed family holidays in the area.

However, in the wake of Jolie filing for divorce from Pitt, he sued his estranged wife. And the court documents alleged that the 47-year-old actress acted unlawfully in selling her share of the winery. In his legal filing, the 58-year-old actor alleged that Angelina deliberately “sought to inflict harm on” him via her sale.

Angelina Jolie – Insider Questions Brad Pitt’s Allegations

However, the insider believes that Brad Pitt’s allegations do not represent the truth. In his legal filing, the actor claims that he and Angelina made a pact to sell their shares only with each other’s permission. And Brad also requested a jury trial.

“Mr. Pitt’s lawsuit against Ms. Jolie is an extension of a false narrative,” shared the source. “And the truth of the situation has still not been made public. After the events that led to Ms. Jolie filing for divorce and her years devoted to caring for their children, Ms. Jolie and the children have not been able to return to the property.” As a result, Angelina “made the difficult decision to sell her stake in the business,” added the insider.

The source continued to emphasize that Jolie did extend offers to Pitt. However, Angelina then made an action based on the fact that the estranged couple’s six children will inherit the business. “After making multiple offers to her ex-husband, and knowing the business will be inherited by their children, she found a business partner with experience in the alcohol industry. It’s unfortunate that after she properly and legally exited the business, Mr. Pitt is entangling her in multiple lawsuits,” summed up the insider.
