Angelina Jolie Admits To Superhero Experience!
Taking on a role in the “Eternals” movie might seem like a visit to an unknown universe to outsiders. But as the mom of six, Angelina Jolie revealed that she and her family have long cherished the superhero world. “Well, I have six kids so I’ve been in the world for a while. We’ve been watching it,” admitted Jolie about the Marvel movie universe per MSN.
As for how Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Vivienne, Knox and Shiloh felt when they learned their mom would actually become a star in the superhero world? Angelina shared that her kids didn’t ask for sneak peeks or spoilers. Instead, the children, ranging in age from 20-year-old Maddox to 13-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox, focused on supporting their mom.
“My kids are so sweet to me,” gushed the actress. “They were so supportive.” In addition to reassuring Angelina that she could succeed in “Eternals,” she shared that the group felt highly impressed by her gold outfit.
Angelina Jolie Enjoys Support From Kids And Co-Stars
In addition to reassuring their movie star mom, Angelina Jolie’s kids enjoy showing their support on the red carpet. Recently, for instance, 16-year-old Zahara and 15-year-old Shiloh Jolie-Pitt wowed with their style choices at the Los Angeles premiere of their mom’s Marvel debut. Jolie revealed that her daughters enjoyed recycling and revamping some of her old outfits, such as her 2014 Oscars gown.
And while Angelina appreciates her kids’ support, she also enjoys mingling with her “Eternals” movie co-stars. Comic Con offered the perfect opportunity, pointed out Jolie. And Angelina got a warm welcome when she met with the cast for the first time.
Held in San Diego, California, Comic Con turned into a meet and greet for the “Eternals” cast. Angelina revealed that she met up with co-stars including Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, and Salma Hayek at the event. “We went to Comic Con, we, the ‘Eternals’, hadn’t met yet, but we were all going to go to Comic Con and present together,” explained Jolie.
As for how it feels to join the Marvel movie universe? Angelina revealed that the experience compares to getting membership in a very exclusive club. And the cast’s plane ride to San Diego turned into a meeting of that club. “You end up on a plane with all the other Marvel people, and you feel like you’ve joined some weird secret club,” summed up Jolie.
