Angelina Jolie Reveals She’s On Good Terms With Ex-husband Johnny Lee Miller

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt may have bad blood flowing for each other to this very day, but that doesn’t mean that she’s got a completely bad reputation when it comes to her relations with exes.

Yes, the eight-year-long divorce battle came to a conclusion at the end of 2024 when Pitt and Jolie reached a settlement, but they’re not exactly completely done when it comes to their legal issues.

Angelina Jolie Gives Rare Insight Into Her Relationship With Ex Johnny Lee Miller

Let me introduce you to Jolie’s little known ex: Johnny Lee Miller. The actors co-starred in the 1995 film ‘Hackers’ and promptly tied the knot in 1996. Barely three years later, they divorced, but luckily, it was as amicable as the word gets.

Jolie opened up about this little-known aspect of her life at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival in Santa Barbara, Calif, where she talked about her life and career.

During a Q&A with critic Leonard Maltin at the Wednesday, Feb. 5 event, Jolie and the audience were shown a clip from the 1995 movie ‘Hackers,’ where she and Miller played school-aged computer experts.

“I was just saying to somebody, it’s really funny because I think you’re starting with Hackers, right?” Jolie said before the clip was played. “Yeah, it’s Jonny. I just talked to him. I love that — I get to see my ex-husband with 2,000 people.”

After seeing the clip, she gushed, “amazing,” adding, “It’s so nice to see it. Actually, it’s funny, I don’t really watch my own films, and so I [don’t] think I’ve seen it since the premiere. But I do have a wonderful relationship with Jonny, and he and I have sons the same age and I’m so happy.”

Following their 1999 divorce, Jolie went on to marry and divorce actors Billy Thornton and Brad Pitt. Miller, on the other hand, welcomed son Buster in 2008 with actress Michele Hicks, whom he was married to from 2008 to 2016.

In 2021, Jolie was seen visiting Miller’s apartment building during a New York trip she took with her six children. Miller’s son Buster and Jolie’s son Knox, now 16, were reportedly seen together at the time.
