Angelina Jolie Slams “Liars” After Finalizing Divorce from Brad Pitt

Angelina Jolie is not a fan of people who say one thing and mean another. This is coming after her brutal eight-year legal battle with Brad Pitt came to a close after both parties signed papers finalizing their divorce. It truly is a New Year New Leaf type thing for the ‘Eternals’ actress, even if it isn’t for some of us.

Angelina Jolie Names Her “Pet Peeve,” And It’s A Serious One

It’s 2025 and we’ve just gotten to learn about Jolie’s biggest pet peeve. If you’re going to say something to the iconic actress, you better mean it.

Jolie revealed this during her Cover Story interview for W Magazine for their Best Performances issue, which released shortly after she signed papers finalizing her divorce from Pitt.

During the chat, the interviewer inquired about her pet peeve, to which she replied that she had so many. But if she were to pick one, it would be “somebody who is a liar.”

She continued: “Somebody who feels a need to not say the truth or what they want, what they feel. There’s a big version of that — and I’m not trying to be heavy about it — but people who say one thing and mean another, who aren’t completely who they are. I think a lot of people don’t say what they mean.”

Even though there were no specifics as to who these “liars” are or look like, we all know she has been embroiled in a bitter battle with her ex Pitt over their six kids and their formerly shared wine business Chateau Miraval.

On Monday, Dec. 30, the exes formally signed off on their divorce, bringing the eight-year long battle to an end. Jolie initially filed for divorce in September, 2016.

Following the whole experience, Jolie is said to be happy it’s all come to an end because she can now focus “on finding peace and healing for their family.” Jolie’s divorce attorney James Simon of Hersh Mannis further added that the actress is “exhausted” and truly grateful “this one part is over.”

Hopefully, this would mean that Pitt and his sources will also move on from attacking her, another source said.

Pitt and his team are yet to publicly address the divorce finalization.
