Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt‘s children may have famous parents, but they’ve got absolutely no desire to follow in their parents’ footsteps. They say fame is something we all crave. Well, not the Jolie-Pitt kids. They’d rather go around with their lives unobserved by the lens.
Angelina Jolie – Says Her Children Want To Be “Private”
Pitt and Jolie’s children – Maddox, 23 Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16 – may hit the red carpet from time to time with their famous mom, but they want to lead private lives.
Jolie shared this bit of news at the AFI premiere of her new film ‘Maria’ in Los Angeles on Sunday, Oct. 27.
“No, I think they’re especially shy, very private people,” Jolie, 49, told the outlet, adding, “They want to be private.”
Jolie recently decided to let go of the long-time contention existing between her and Pitt by dropping her legal case that seeks to expose documents connected to the alleged 2016 plane incident involving Pitt. Following this, a family friend called Jolie’s kids her “biggest supporters.”
“In the past few years, she’s been able to create a life for herself and the kids that make them all happy. It was a struggle for a while, but Angie is proud about how resilient and strong the kids are,” said the insider.
“They are her biggest supporters too,” the source added. “The kids are all amazing.”
“Being stuck in the past is not anything that Angie wants. She’s actively moving beyond the past. She wants to focus on her family, work and the future,” the insider further shared. “These are all things that make her happy.”
Angelina Jolie – Reveals There’s “Loneliness” In Her “Worth Ethics”
Angelina Jolie’s latest role in ‘Maria’ is one of her most challenging in recent years. Portraying the famed opera singer, she was also able to draw parallels between her life and Maria Callas’.
Speaking on their shared traits, she told PEOPLE, “I don’t want to speak too much about it because it’s too personal, but there’s definitely a loneliness and a work ethic. I may be many things, but I’m a very hard worker, right? I’m an imperfect person, but I work very hard and she does.”
Apart from their work ethics, Jolie also suggested they both share the need to be overly self-critical of their performances.
