Are The Kardashians In Danger Of Being Cancelled?

For the first time since the early aughts, the Kardashians might actually find out what it’s like to be regular people once more. Why? Because it seems their iconic show is in danger of being cancelled! After five seasons, The Kardashians may come to an end.

Originally they had Keeping Up With the Kardashians on the E! Network, but after 20 seasons they called it quits over there, only to pop up a year later over on Hulu with The Kardashians.

The Kardashians Spoilers – Kris Jenner Is Feeling The Burn

It has Kris Jenner running scared because of all the changes occurring across streaming platforms currently. Even though the show has been renewed for a remaining 20 episodes for this summer, that doesn’t necessarily mean that the show will be returning.

Like a lot of people nowadays, of course Kris Jenner is worried about the bottom line – the Kardashians’ million dollar lifestyle and paychecks, but the economic reality is that a lot of streaming services are tightening their budgets and it seems that the Kardashians may be some of the ones who feel the burn in the end.

“Everything from marketing budgets to episode counts are getting tighter so streaming services can continue to make a profit.” said a source.

The Kardashians Spoilers – How Does The Rest Of The Family Feel?

It seems that Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney don’t really feel the same way that their Mom feels simply because the show’s cancellation will free them up to do a myriad of other things and with the advent of social media that could be any number of things.

The girls are already famous on social media with millions of followers collectively and generally people who have that level of following do very well monetarily if they attempt to launch things over social media. “There’s definitely a feeling that they’ve squeezed the lemon long enough.” Says a source.

In spite of the family’s great success, there are people within the family that don’t really like the series. Rob Kardashian Jr., Kylie and Kendall Jenner, have all complained in the past about the trouble the exposure of the show brings them.

Unlike Kim and Khloe who don’t really mind all the exposure, Rob, Kendall, and Kylie have all felt various levels of burn from social media, especially Rob, who whereabouts and sobriety journey have been speculated upon with great regularity by social media followers, not to mention his relationship with rapper Black Chyna that was documented on their own reality TV show.

The Kardashians Spoilers – Controversy After Controversy.

Kylie, even though she has had great monetary success through the show and her cosmetic line and the like, she has also felt the burn of social media speculation (does anyone remember the great eyebrow laminating thing with Selena Gomez?) Kylie has been accused of being a mean girl in the past.

Kendall has after the best arguably, but she just wants to model, it seems, but there was controversy involving her brand of Tequila, 818, which she launched anonymously, but she was still accused of cultural appropriation and the like.
