The “Victorious” alum who is also a great singer, took it upon herself to reply to a fan who asked her, “Why aren’t you a singer anymoree?!?!?” The question arose simply because it’s been a while since Ariana graced our screens with a new song.

From Ariana’s response, it’s obvious she aimed to school her inquisitive fan on this obvious fact about her “once a singer, always a singer no matter how long I’m silent.”
Taking to her TikTok account, Ariana posted a video of herself singing “Somewhere over the rainbow” from The Wizard of Oz. Watching her sing with her incredible voice was enough answer and silence to both doubters and rumor mongers.
The two-time Grammy Award winner also used one stone to kill two birds by addressing the rumors that her music career is over. She shut down that belief with the caption she gave her TikTok video which read, “Literally on set filming two musical movies all day every day.”

She also added that she, “Wanted to sing you a little something but don’t want to sing anything that is not ‘Ozian’ at the moment. keeping to my little bubble for now … done with lots of love.”
Indeed, Ariana has been on set filming two musicals with director Jon M. Chu who announced back in April that his “Wicked” project will consist of not one but two movies.

There have been reports that the “Sam & Cat” alum went for a total makeover with respect to her role as Glinda in the upcoming movie. The fact that she wore a pink sweater and completely covered her hair with the sweater’s hood was enough evidence to fans that Ariana has made her “Glinda” hair.

Sometime last year, Ariana took to her YouTube channel to share that she began preparing for the Glinda role the very moment she caught wind of the auditioning. She said, “So, I was shooting and then doing lessons every day because I just wanted to be prepared for when the call came.”
She continued, “I had no idea when it was coming, but I was just like, ‘I want to be ready to go in.’ I know that I know the material like the back of my hand, but I still have so much to learn and I want to be in prime condition. So, I went pretty hard getting ready.”
Expressing her joy for landing the role she said, “And now, thank God, thank goodness literally, the most incredible gift of my entire life is this role that I’ve adored since I [was] 10 years old and that is going to have every piece of me. Every minute, every ounce of my heart, my time, my soul, my everything that I can give it.”
