Ariana Grande Separates From Hubby Dalton Gomez
Married for just two years, “Just Like Magic” singer Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez have separated. The couple wed in May 2021 and seemingly enjoyed a happy marriage, making the split announcement a shocker for their followers.
But an insider told People that the 30-year-old singer and her 27-year-old luxury real estate agent husband actually separated earlier this year.
And since their separation, Ariana and Dalton have “been quietly and lovingly working on their friendship,” added the source. Grande currently is in London working on the screen adaptation of Wicked. And she sparked split rumors when she headed out to Wimbledon without her wedding band and engagement ring over the weekend.

However, over the summer, Ariana also left off her ring during a makeup tutorial on TikTok. But at that time, she denied split rumors. And Grande explained, “I’m just not wearing my wedding ring, it’s getting cleaned. I’m not getting a divorce before you start, don’t,” she told her followers.
Ariana Grande Seemed To Enjoy A Happy Marriage
But for the past two years, Gomez and Grande seemed happy. For instance, the singer turned to Instagram in the spring to share her joy on their second wedding anniversary. And she posted a heart as well as the words “3.5 together” to represent their time as a couple. “I love him so,” added Ariana.
And both spouses posted photos for Valentine’s Day earlier this year. “My forever valentine,” Gomez gushed about his wife. And Grande re-shared what he wrote. She then added, “I love you.”

When the two tied the knot in May 2021, a spokesperson for Ariana described the scene. “The room was so happy and full of love. The couple and both families couldn’t be happier,” shared the rep. And they kept the wedding small, inviting less than 20 people to their home in Montecito, California.
But at the time, an insider claimed that the two seemed like a “a great fit together.” And the source described Dalton as “entirely unfazed by the scope of her celebrity and is very grounding for her. He’s young,” added the insider. But the source shared that his maturity and knowledge of “what he wants out of life” made him seem like Ariana’s perfect match.
And another source described Gomez as “very hardworking and focused.” However, Ariana’s “low-key” spouse “doesn’t like attention,” added the second insider. “He isn’t impressed by celebrities. He is perfect for her.” The two started dating in January 2020 before sharing their engagement 11 months later. But throughout their marriage, they sought to minimize exposing their relationship to the spotlight.
