However, they eventually made up after several decades of tormenting each other. Although the two are now very close, the former governor of California is not willing to jump on the offer to have a good time with the “Rambo” star.
In the interview, Arnold told the outlet, “Sly calls me: ‘Want to come on the yacht?’ What, do you think I’m going to ask, ‘When can I have dinner?’ It’s not going to happen,” he then added, “I can get my own yacht. That’s not my trip. I can’t even relax under those circumstances.”
Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Idea Of Relaxation
People have different ways they unwind from the daily stress of life. Some involve spending lavishly or taking a trip to expensive places however, “The Kindergarten Cop’s” idea of relaxation will shock you.
When asked about his ideal way to decompress, Arnold replied, “I don’t plan a day off…to go on vacation to Europe or to go on a boat like most of my friends do.”
He went on to say, “I can relax at home, I can relax in my office when I work. Or I’ll go to the USC Schwarzenegger Institute and hang out with the students.” Arnold and Sylvester’s beef was well known to the extent that Sylvester once revealed that he “loathed” Arnold.
Arnold Schwarzenegger Once Pranked Sylvester Stallone
Arnold on the other hand once pranked Sylvester into doing the mother of all turkeys, 1992’s Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot.
Following their reconciliation, the “Commando” actor had some words of praise for his “Expendables” co-star, “I really admire him, I love him. He’s just a different person than me. He’s much more raw, and he’s much more vulnerable and in touch with his emotions.”
He continued, “When he gets mad, he just gets mad, It’s like when you light a fuse — his goes right away. ‘Boom!’ Mine goes, ‘Shhh.’ It takes two days to get to the actual boom. It makes him good in acting, because he feels things immediately.”
