Liam Payne passed away in mid-October after he fell from a balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Investigations into the One Direction alum’s death brought the news that he was using drugs and now, three people have been arrested.
Liam Payne Was Probably Unconscious
When the news arrived that the former X-Factor contestant had died, plenty of people in the entertainment industry expressed their sorrow. Liam was young, just 31 when he died, so it seemed even more tragic. Even Simon Cowell, who lashed out at the boyband, found something nice to say about the musician.
Although some people have been arrested in Argentina, no mention was made of the “Pink Cocaine” that Liam Payne allegedly took before his death. That is a cocktail mix of drugs that often includes “ketamine and methamphetamine,” according to NBC News. The autopsy revealed other drugs and found that the One Direction alum was probably unconscious when he hit the ground.
Arrests Have Been Made
The outlet reported that three people were arrested and charged in connection with circumstances leading to the death of the former X-Factor contestant.
The prosecutor was cited as saying:
Illicit conduct was discovered from which three people were charged with the crimes of abandonment of a person followed by death, supply and facilitation of narcotics.
A Friend Was Arrested, Claimed to be Liam’s Manager?
One of the people charged with supplying Liam Payne with drugs worked at the hotel. Allegedly, they obtained cocaine for the musician. There was another person who also supplied drugs. And, a person who was with him was also charged for abandoning him before he died. There are rumors that this person claimed to be the One Direction alum’s manager.
Plenty of surveillance footage backed up the evidence against the suspects. At this time, there is no word on the names of the people involved. Perhaps after some time, they will come to light. Other news indicates that Liam Payne did not deliberately try and jump and perhaps the details of what went on inside his head might not ever come to light.
Prior to his death, a hotel employee called the police to say that there was a lot of damage and noise going on in Liam Payne’s room. But, by the time anything was done about it, the famous singer was already dead. The tragic part of this is that his family allegedly believed that the songwriter and musician was staying sober and not taking drugs.
