Ben Affleck & Jennifer Lopez Marry In ‘Super Small’ Ceremony In Vegas

Back in April 2022, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez applied for a marriage license this weekend in Clark County, Nevada. According to court records, the famous pair was married in a small ceremony and are blissfully happy.

An insider told People that the celebrity couple was married in a “super, super small” ceremony over the weekend. The source added, “They just wanted to be married so they got married.”  In fact, Ben Affleck, 49, and Lopez, 52, revived their relationship last year.

Back in February 2022, Lopez spoke to People about what makes their connection different now, as compared to 18 years ago. She said they are older now and are smarter and have more experience. JLo added that they are at different places in their lives, they have kids now, and have to be “very conscious of those things.”

Jennifer shares 14-year-old twins Emme and Max with her former husband, Marc Anthony. Meanwhile, Ben shares three children, Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10 with his former wife, actress Jennifer Garner. Lopez said:

It’s a beautiful outcome that this has happened in this way at this time in our lives where we can really appreciate and celebrate each other and respect each other.

The singer also referred to her green diamond engagement ring. She said green has always been her lucky color and “now, for sure, it always will be,” adding:

Two very lucky people. Who got a second chance at true love.

Ben and Jennifer started dating back in July 2002 and were engaged that November. However, they postponed their September 2003 wedding shortly before the date. Meanwhile, in January 2004, they called off their engagement.

Speaking to WSJ Magazine in December, Affleck said how lucky it was that they had been given second chances in his work and personal life. He added:

I’ve had second chances in my career. I’ve had second chances as a human being. Life is difficult, and we are always failing and hopefully learning from those failures.

The one thing you really need to avail yourself of the opportunities provided from that growth is the second chance. I’ve definitely tried to take advantage of that. I haven’t always been successful, but in cases in which I have, they’ve turned out to be the defining aspects of my life.
