Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have stayed busy ever since they eloped to Las Vegas. From Paris together to Affleck bonding with his son Samuel, the newlyweds show no desire to slow down. And for Ben’s 50th birthday, the couple known as Bennifer hopped on a jet to celebrate.

Always chic, Lopez stood out as she joined Affleck in Van Nuys, California to jet off for his 50th birthday. Jen chose a white shirt, designer jeans, high heels, and a Gucci purse. And Ben upgraded his usual dress-down style as well, noted the Daily Mail.

Wearing a jacket and black jeans, Affleck matched Jennifer by wearing aviator sunglasses. His beard looked newly trimmed. But the husband and wife didn’t travel alone. Ben’s children with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner accompanied them. Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10, joined Affleck and Lopez aboard a private jet at the airport.

However, Jennifer proved that she never forgets her career. And as they jetted off, her JLo Beauty brand team shared a new video of Lopez. Sporting a bath towel, a necklace, and of course her wedding ring, Lopez went without makeup to show her Overnight Hustle™ nighttime serum works. And Jennifer also shared how to use the serum.

But Affleck didn’t exactly seem in the cheeriest of moods as he got ready to turn 50. And TMZ caught the actor looking pitifully sad at the airport. Perhaps Ben didn’t feel thrilled at traveling again? Or maybe he worries about the implications of that milestone birthday?

Whatever the reason, Ben looked gloomy on the day before his birthday. However, Jennifer didn’t exactly look like Pollyanna Sunshine. She appeared serious as she gathered their belongings from the car. And Lopez hustled everyone on board the plane to leave on time.

But prepare yourself, Ben. Those gloomy expressions mean that Twitter likely will celebrate your birthday with yet another flood of memes. And the social media platform loves Affleck’s meme-worthy looks. For instance, he looked depressed during a Batman v Superman interview. And he once got snapped staring into space at the beach. Most recently, Affleck couldn’t seem to stay awake on his honeymoon!

However, perhaps when Ben, Jennifer, and the kids arrive at their destination, Affleck will go from feeling doomed to delighted. And if not, well, there’s always birthday cake! We hope blowing out the candles and enjoying the frosted treat will cheer up the birthday guy.
