Ben Affleck Reportedly Missed Jennifer Lopez’s Bridgerton-Themed Birthday Party

If you hear Bridgerton, what’s the first word that pops into your head: romance! And yet Jennifer Lopez had hers without her boo in sight.

While Ben Affleck and Lopez are yet to officially announce that they’ve decided to divorce and admit their fairytale second-chance love story failed, fans are already on top of it and declaring that Bennifer 2.0 has gone the way of the original Bennifer.

On July 24, Jennifer Lopez will turn 55, and over the weekend she decided to throw herself a big Bridgerton-themed birthday party, with guests arriving in royal-esque attires.

However, according to sources present at the bash, Affleck was nowhere to be seen. The party took place in the Hamptons on Saturday, July 20, with Lopez’s mother, Guadalupe Rodríguez, bringing her fashion A-game in a blue gown with white lace detailing.

This is coming after a source claimed that Lopez went on her solo Europe trip to clear her mind about Affleck and figure out something for herself.

The couple have been spending time apart lately, with Affleck on set of his upcoming movie ‘Accountants 2’ as Jennifer Lopez celebrated this year’s Mother’s Day. To crown it all, the couple celebrated their second wedding anniversary separately, with the ‘Hypnotico’ songstress pictured enjoying a bike ride while the ‘Batman’ star headed to his Los Angeles office.

Perhaps space and time would help them to heal?

Some sources think the marriage is done, with many blaming Affleck for creating “deeper issues” in his rift with Lopez.

“The idea that Ben thinks Jennifer is too famous and that he didn’t know what he was getting into with the attention on their marriage isn’t true,” the source said.

According to sources, the drama got so that Affleck’s ex Jennifer Garner, who was once said to play the peacemaker in the relationship, respectfully bowed out.
