Ben Affleck Reportedly Not Pleased Jennifer Lopez’s Monetizing Their Love Life

Jennifer Lopez’s second chance love story with Ben Affleck is a tale that’s been oft-told: in songs, during interviews, in a documentary, and so on and so on.

In fact, “This Is Me… Now,” – a sort of companion album to “This Is Me… Then” – is based around this second chance love story, so much so some of its lyrics are derived from love letters Affleck wrote to Lopez.

One of those songs that draws heavily on the love letters was a little one Lopez named “Greatest Love Story Never Told.” It was said to have been inspired by Affleck hinting that their love story was the greatest never told, and what did she do? She went ahead and told it. Now, a source believes Affleck may be nearing his breaking point.

Ben Affleck may be an actor, but he knows that there are aspects of one’s life that should be kept far away from the public eye.

Sadly, Lopez doesn’t always agree. The actress, singer-songwriter and businesswoman firmly believes that something as beautiful as their second chance love story should be shared with the world.

It’s gotten to an extent that sources close to the couple believe that Affleck is visibly unhappy about the whole proceeding.

“Ben has gotten very good at biting his tongue, but it’s known that he’s not happy at all about J. Lo’s endless need for attention,” the source said.

Affleck hinted as much in the documentary when he said, “Things that are private I always felt are sacred and special because, in part, they’re private. So this was something of an adjustment for me.”

Continuing on, the source noted. “Ben loves J. Lo dearly, and he knew what he was getting into, to an extent.”

They added: “But his fear is that by putting so much of herself out there, J. Lo’s just opening them up to way too much public scrutiny, and that hasn’t helped their relationship historically — far from it.”

Whatever Affleck’s emotions may be on the matter, he’s continued to remain supportive of Lopez and even joined her on the red carpet for the premiere of “This Is Me… Now: A Love Story.”
