While on Drew Barrymore’s talk show this past week, the topic turned to Ben Affleck’s wife and what her secret to youth has been. And well, it seems like Jennifer has just always been very lucky in the genetics department.

Ben put it this way, “I’m going to tell you something that’s going to upset you. Jennifer just eats whatever she wants. Whatever she wants. Pizza, cookies, ice cream — everything.”

But he also added, “She works out. I mean, I work out, too. But I don’t magically appear to be 20 years old with perfect skin and the whole thing. There’s no taking away the work ethic.

The work ethic is real, the discipline is very real, but also the superhuman thing is real. She’s the most gorgeous woman in the world, she looks spectacular.”

Of course, this isn’t the only time that Ben Affleck has sung his wife’s praises. Back in March, he credited Jennifer for giving him a little guidance while he was working on his film, Air.

He said, “Oh my God, she’s brilliant. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the way fashion evolves through the culture as a confluence of music, sports, entertainment and dance.

Lopez helped me in talking about the way in which a part of the reason why Jordans were so meaningful is because culture and style in America is 90 percent driven by Black culture.”

Ben continued, “Black culture has historically pioneered music, dance, fashion, and it’s then been stolen, appropriated, remarketed as Elvis or whatever. And in this case, [Nike], a white-run corporate entity, was starting to do business with African American athletes in an identity affiliation sales thing.

They were really taking value from what Michael Jordan represents and who he is. I don’t think the meaning can be overstated.”
