Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are two of a rare kind: exes who get along. This Thanksgiving, amid the drama of Jennifer Lopez and Affleck’s impending divorce, the ‘Batman’ star chose to reunite with ex Garner and their children ahead of the upcoming holidays.

Ben Affleck And Jennifer Garner Spend Thanksgiving Feeding the Homeless

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner reunited earlier in the day on Thanksgiving Day when they attended a charity event in downtown Los Angeles.

The couple, who were married for nearly ten years, helped feed hundreds for the The Midnight Mission. The duo’s three children also participated in the event.

Not only did they show up to help out, but they did it in uniform too, sporting hairnets and aprons that read “I heart the Midnight Mission.”

The couple further posed for pictures with Sarah Paulson at the annual Thanksgiving Street Fair.

The mission’s website promised volunteers a good time spent with “live music, celebrity appearances, and the distribution of hygiene items to our homeless guests.”

Sarah Paulson shared the experience with fans on Instagram, writing, “Together with Jennifer Garner & Ben Affleck and with her bestie Amanda Peet! They volunteered and served free meals to the unhoused community in LA earlier today, organized by The Midnight Mission.”

Located in Skid Row area of downtown Los Angeles, the Midnight Mission has made it their tradition to recruit volunteers who help serve thousands of free meals on Thanksgiving. This year, they’re said to have fed roughly 2000 in need.

Ben Affleck Feels A “Certain Level of Comfort” With Ex Jennifer Garner Even Amid “Nasty” Jennifer Lopez Divorce

After the family rounded up their volunteer work, Affleck joined Garner and the kids for a Thanksgiving dinner at her place.

The ‘Accountant 2’ star is said to feel “blessed” at having been given the opportunity to enjoy simple yet beautiful family moments like these, especially at a time when he is going through a “nasty” divorce with the “Papi” songstress.

“Even though Ben and Jen have been split for a while now, he feels a certain level of comfort with her,” an insider told Page Six. “Ben has a strong relationship with Jen that will never dissipate because they have a lot of history together and she’s the mother of his kids.”

The insider also claimed that this isn’t Affleck and Garner’s first Thanksgiving together, hinting at the couple’s ongoing love and respect for each other. “They’ll always be close because they share children together,” the source added.

Well I guess if they weren’t chums they wouldn’t be working on an upcoming movie together, now would they?
