However, now that he and the “This Is Me…Now” hitmaker are calling it quits after two years of marriage, he’s been appearing in public perfectly groomed. And there’s a good reason for it, in case you’re wondering.

“Ben is suddenly going out of his way to pamper himself and look his absolute best,” an insider exclusively told In Touch. “He’s now dying his hair, getting manicures and pedicures, getting waxed from head to toe. He’s even getting hair plugs and seeing the dermatologist for skin treatments to turn back the clock.”

Remember when sources claimed Affleck’s ex-wife Jennifer Garner is happy about his romance with Lopez because it influences him to eat healthy? Well, he’s eating healthier now that she’s gone from his life, as the insider confirmed, “Even his diet is cleaner. He’s cut out a ton of the junk.”

Ben Affleck’s New Look Infuriates Jennifer Lopez: “J.Lo is Seeing Red”

The new look that’s left Affleck looking much improved was debuted on Thursday, Oct. 3 as the star was out with son Fin in Santa Monica. Fans quickly noticed that the subtle gray streaks on his hair and beard have disappeared and that he looked more trim.

“As you can imagine J. Lo is seeing red,” the insider continued, “because these are all the things she wanted him to do when they were together and he totally refused.”
