Ben Affleck’s Mood Swings Wrecked Marriage With Jennifer Lopez?

Well, the details are finally emerging as to what led Jennifer Lopez to file for divorce from Ben Affleck when they should have been celebrating their wedding anniversary.

First we heard that Affleck has moved out, and on top of that, he reportedly didn’t make any efforts to fix the rift in his marriage with JLo.

So naturally, the songstress and businesswoman decided to move on and sweep the Affleck drama all under the surface.

A source had previously claimed that Ben Affleck had simply had enough of Jennifer Lopez when she decided to start her cocktail brand Delola. The reason, according to the source at the time, was that it had a significant bearing to his alcohol addiction.

Now, a different source is claiming that the problem isn’t actually Lopez’s cocktail brand, but Affleck’s mood swings.

“The truth is there was a great deal of love but also unfortunately what became clear were Ben’s erratic mood swings that he couldn’t hide from the press, as much as he tried to,” the source said.

“You could see the erratic behavior, the giant mood swings,” the source added, going on to describe Affleck’s behavior as something that could go from “being incredibly happy and warm — the best light that emanated from him” to exhibiting “the deepest, darkest behavior.”

The reason for this, the source opined, was that he was likely “signaling a message to the press. But yet participating.”

Even though the ‘Justice League’ star and the ‘Hypnotico’ hitmaker tried to work through their differences since splitting in April, the drama reportedly became too much for Lopez to bear.

“They were trying to work through it, but when the mood swings and the big highs and big lows informed a toxicity that was pervasive, no one can help you — you have to help yourself,” the source explained.

“But I would not be so bold to say there isn’t love — of course there is,” the source adds. “The world was rooting for them, but who he said he was and who he turned out to be were two different people.”

In other news, Affleck is yet to make the effort to speak to Lopez’s kids since the divorce was filed.
