Ben Affleck’s Relationship With Ex Jennifer Garner Laid Bare By Insider

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner may just be one of Hollywood’s most friendly exes, possibly behind Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux, though not much far off. The former couple has been through highs, lows, mids and everything else and yet their bond remains strong and true.

Even in the midst of Affleck’s drama with Jennifer Lopez, Garner remained the supportive shoulder he could lean on. But if you think their relationship stops at being each other’s listening ear every once in a while, you’re in for a big shocker.

Jennifer Garner Dedicated To Helping the Victims of the Palisades Fire

Jennifer Garner has reportedly been spending her days as a volunteer to provide aid to the victims of the Los Angeles wildfires.

Garner’s personal and emotional connections to the disaster – via close acquaintances – has made her a dedicated ally to the victims. And where there’s Garner volunteering, we hear there’s also ex Affleck helping out.

“Jen has been dedicating every waking hour to helping her friends who have lost everything in the fires,” a source shared with the Daily Mail. “She is helping her church, and she has been going non-stop. She needs to take some time to relax but that is not how Jen is – not when she is passionate about something. The fires took a big toll on her and she lost a friend. She has been out there every day volunteering her time.”

Remember when reports surfaced suggesting that Garner has been thrust into the role of a mediator in Lopez and Affleck’s dispute? Well, the actress is glad those days are gone so that she can finally focus her mental energy on the things that matter.

The source added, “The fires came on the heels of Ben’s split from JLo which wore her out, [as she was] playing mediator. Not having that whole mess to deal with has been a weight lifted. On top of this, she is also raising children and is an incredibly hands-on parent.”

Per the source, Affleck sees and appreciates Garner’s strength as a hands-on parent to their three children and the fact that she was his emotional anchor when he was at his lowest.

“She has saved him many times and there is nothing in the world he would not do for her. He is not super concerned for her right now. But if that changes he would drop everything to make sure she is OK,” the source explained.

I totally now want a Jennifer Garner in my life.
