Billie Eilish And Many A-List Celebrities Will Perform At Prince William’s “Prestigious” Environmental Awards

The Boston ceremony is going to be an event to remember. Apart from being the first time that the British royal couple will be touching down on America, it will also award five iconic and groundbreaking projects that will “protect and restore nature, clean our air, build a waste-free world, fix our climate and revive our oceans”.

The event is invite-only and already has a ton of big names attached.

Immediately after the first awards gala came to a satisfying close, it was announced that the next awards ceremony will be taking place in the US.

Since then, anticipation has been building for what we can expect from the couple’s stateside visit this year. Little did we know that their Boston visit will turn out to be their first international engagement since they became the Prince and Princess of Wales.

This year’s awards will feature Clara Amfo and Daniel Dae Kim as hosts, with Billie Eilish, Annie Lennox, Ellie Goulding, and Chloe x Halle. Alongside Prince William, Sir David Attenborough will be delivering the closing remarks.

Each of the five winning categories at the awards night will receive £1 million in funding to scale up the projects and have them make a bigger impact.

Amfo said in a statement: “What an honour to return for a second time to host The Earthshot Prize awards, this time from America! I was so inspired by last year’s Winners, and I’m looking forward to celebrating and sharing the incredible work of the 2022 Finalists with the world.”
